Instruction and Support Guide
Use this guide to set up and use the app.

Play Music from iTunes / Apple Music Library
- Open Settings.
- Turn on Include iTunes Library.
- If prompted, allow media library access.
- Tap Refresh Library (or wait for automatic refresh after toggling).
- Go to Songs, Albums, or Artists, then start playback.
Notes
- Import includes tracks with accessible local/media URLs.
- You can import Apple Music playlists from Playlists using the top-right import button when iTunes library is enabled.
Copy Music via Built-in Web Server
- Open Settings -> File Upload.
- Keep this screen open. The server runs only while this screen is visible.
- On another device on the same Wi-Fi, open the shown Address in a browser.
- Enter the shown Username and Password.
- Upload files or folders from the browser page.
- After upload finishes, the app refreshes library indexing.
Important
- Credentials are randomly generated each app run.
- Uploaded files go to the app Documents
Musicfolder.
Play Music from iCloud Drive
Method A: Add iCloud folder as a library source
- Open Settings.
- Ensure Include Files and Folders is on.
- Tap Add music folder.
- In the Files picker, choose a folder in iCloud Drive.
- The app stores access and refreshes the library.
Method B: Copy from iCloud Drive into app storage
- In the Files app, copy tracks from iCloud Drive to On My iPhone app storage.
- Return to the app and tap Refresh Library.
Note
- If an iCloud file is not downloaded locally yet, indexing may skip it until downloaded.
Copy Music from USB via Files App
- Connect USB storage to iPhone or iPad using an adapter if needed.
- Open Apple Files app.
- Copy tracks or folders from USB to a local or app-accessible folder.
- In this app, either add that folder with Settings -> Add music folder, or keep files in the app default
Musicfolder. - Tap Refresh Library.
Copy Music from SMB via Files App
- In Apple Files, connect to SMB using the ... menu, then Connect to Server.
- Copy tracks or folders from SMB to local or app-accessible storage.
- In this app, use Settings -> Add music folder to include that folder.
- Tap Refresh Library.
Tip
- Copying locally is usually more reliable than playing directly from network shares.
Create Playlists
From any song list such as Songs, Albums, Artists, playlist detail, or queue:
- Long-press a song.
- Tap Add to Playlist.
- Choose an existing playlist, or tap Create New Playlist....
From the Playlists screen:
- Open Playlists to view and manage playlists.
- If iTunes library import is enabled, import playlists from Apple Music or iTunes.
Delete Item from Playlist
- Open Playlists.
- Open a playlist.
- Swipe left on a song.
- Tap Delete.
This removes the song from the playlist only. It does not delete the media file.
Play Next
- Long-press a song.
- Tap Play Next.
Behaviour
- Inserts the track immediately after the current track.
- Preserves the rest of the queue order.
Add to Queue
- Long-press a song.
- Tap Add to Queue.
Behaviour
- Appends the track to the end of the current queue.
AirPlay
- Open the Now Playing controls.
- Tap the AirPlay button.
- Select an AirPlay target such as a speaker, TV, or device.
Troubleshooting
- New files not visible: Settings -> Refresh Library.
- iTunes tracks missing: verify Include iTunes Library is on and media permission is allowed.
- iCloud tracks missing: download locally first, then refresh.
- Upload not working: ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi and the File Upload screen stays open.
